new pics

Heyyy! Havent had much time to write stuff lately, very busy with work... But I'm back with more pictures! MAC is coming out with a new line called "Cult of Cherry" next month and I did a recreation of the visuals from the promo pictures and thought you might all like to see =)

I love what you've done! The photos and your makeup look so good - your skin looks unreal! The first photo is my favorite, but I also really like the one of just your boots and the cherries. And the way you rock being pale makes tan look drab, ironically enough.

Quite a bit of digital noise... what ISO were you using?

I really know nothing about this stuff, so anything you can tell me would be helpful...I just change the settings and take pics to hopefully figure out what works best eventually lol. ISO was 1000 on these pics. tell me what im doing wrong haha

Well, the higher the ISO, the more suitable it is for low light (looks like this was the case for you) as it allows for shorter exposure times but it does end up with more noise/digital grain. I pretty much always leave my camera set to an ISO of 50 (lowest setting!) to get really crisp, noise-free images. However, this sometimes means my shutter has to be open for 8+ seconds! The big difference between you and I is that you're mostly shooting people and I'm mostly shooting abandoned buildings and things that don't move! So when shooting moving subjects it may be necessary to change the ISO but I would try moving more lighting to the area first.

Hope this helps!

I can see the look you are going for, everything else looks great it's just these silly technical things that could make these images look really professional!
